Save small dairy farms!
Save raw milk buying clubs!
No monopoly for big ag milk!
The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) wants to shut down small dairies at the behest of big ag. They are doing this by regulating raw milk buying clubs out of business: making them illegal. In February, cease and desist orders were sent to several Mass clubs. We don't need new regulations for raw milk. If it's not broken don't fix it! This is about the right to choose what we eat and drink!
Gather at 8:45 am on May 10 at the Park Street T on the Common. It's a Raw Milk Drink-In! Great speakers! And there will be a cow!
Afterwards, come to the MDAR raw milk hearing: May 10 at 10 am, Conference Room A, 100 Cambridge Street, Boston (by Government Center, near the intersection with Bowdoin Street)
Written comments will be accepted up until May 10, and may be sent to Scott Soared, Department of Agricultural Resources, 251 Causeway Street, Boston, MA 02114
