Upcoming events...

Hey everyone!

We had a great meeting/gobble this past Tuesday...sweet potatoes, squash, green beans, pumpkin pie, cookies...thanks for sharing your "leftovers"!

Here are some things to put on your calendar:

Tuesday, December 4th

French Cultural Society/Slow Food BU Potluck Dinner
7pm @ the French House (153 Bay State Road)
Bring any dish you like (it doesn't have to be French)

Tuesday December 11th

Slow Down for Slow Food: A Foods Bazaar
GSU Link, 10am- 3:30pm
Stop by our table to sample foods prepared by Slow Food BU members, get recipes and information about local foods, and learn more about Slow Food BU's programs! Bring home-baked food to the table if you'd like to share it.

General Meeting (last one before break!)
808 Comm Ave, Room 122 @ 7:30pm
The usual food, talking, plus good wishes for the holidays.

And if you're already thinking about next semester...
Thursday, February 7th: A Taste of Slow (big dinner)
Thursday, February 28th: From Farm to Fork: Why Eat Local? (expert panel presentation/local foods tasting)
April: Earth Day Banquet

Finally, some interesting biodiversity news from Italy.

Happy weekend!
